Axel Rudi Pell (27 de junio de 1960), es un guitarrista Aleman de Heavy metal Melódico.Inicia su carrera con la banda Steeler (1984-1988), antes de aventurarse en su carrera en solitario como Axel Rudi Pell. Durante este tiempo, ha compartido escenario con reconocidos músicos como los percusionistas Jörg Michael y Mike Terrana y los vocalistas Rob Rock y Jeff Scott Soto. Interpreta un heavy metal melódico tradicional, basado en guitarras, aunque menos rápido que Yngwie Malmsteen, con énfasis en baladas, lo que se evidencia con tres compilaciones separadas tituladas The Ballads.
