Ledisi Anibade Young (nacida el 28 de marzo de 1972),más conocida simplemente como Ledisi, es una cantante estadounidense de R&B Soul y Jazz
Artista de grabación, compositora, productora musical, autora y actriz. Su nombre significa "dar a luz" o "venir aquí" en yoruba. En 1995, Ledisi formó una banda después de su segundo nombre Anibade. Después de intentar sin éxito firmar con un sello importante, formó LeSun Records con Sundra Manning. Ledisi y Sundra decidieron lanzar el álbum debut de Ledisi titulado Soulsinger (portada en blanco y negro del sello independiente LeSun Music) con la canción "Take Time", que obtuvo una importante difusión en las estaciones de radio del área de San Francisco.
