Anne Marie Almedal (nacida el 6 de diciembre de 1971 en Kristiansand, Noruega) es una músico noruega. Fue la vocalista principal de la banda Velvet Belly (1989–2003) y desde entonces ha lanzado cinco álbumes en solitario.
Almedal se graduó del programa de música rítmica en el Conservatorio de Música de Rotterdam. Estudió lengua y cultura holandesa en la Universidad de Leiden y una fundación en estudios de cristianismo en la Universidad de Oslo. Actualmente trabaja como directora gerente en AKKS Kristiansand, una organización musical idealista que trabaja por la igualdad y el equilibrio de género en la industria musical noruega. Muchos la conocen como la compositora y cantante del tema principal de la serie de televisión Himmelblå transmitida por NRK. En 2000 se casó con el músico y compositor Nicholas Sillitoe y actualmente viven en Vågsbygd, Kristiansand junto con sus dos hijos, Florian y Stella Marie.
