MKVToolNix es un conjunto de herramientas, que incluye mkvmerge, mkvinfo, mkvextract, mkvpropedit y mmg, que le permiten crear, manipular e inspeccionar archivos Matroska (MKV). Las conversiones de vídeo podremos realizarlas sobre una enorme cantidad de formatos distintos, tanto de vídeo como de audio y subtítulos. Así, podremos cargar nuestros proyectos en cualquier archivo en AVI, WMV, OGG, SRT, MP3, MP4, RMV o USF, entre otros.

Soporta los siguientes formatos:

Vídeo: 264, H264, AVC, AVI, DRC, MP4, MPG, MPEG, M1V, M2V, EVO, MKV, OGG, MOV, RA, RAM, RMVB, VC1.
